Many travelers do not have an idea about what and where to head after their Angkor Wat trip, and here are some of the recommended coastlines based on traveler’s research.
Spend few days in Kep

Kep is the coastal tourist city located southwest of Royal city of Phnom Penh of Kingdom of Cambodia. In Kep, tourist can enjoy a variety of tourist attractions such as natural mountains, evergreen tropical forest, mangroves, islands, sea grass coral reefs, pure sea air, beaches, and sea food.
Koh Tonsay will be your next

“Koh Thonsáy” means Rabbit Island, and it is located close to the mainland of Kep City. Koh Tonsay is located 4.6 km south of Kep and can be reached by boat from Kep port. Tourists are drawn to the beautiful white sand beach overlooking the sea. The sea here is shallow and the sea bottom has a long gradual slope, making Koh Thonsay excellent for swimming. At the sea bottom are a variety of corals, sea animals and plants which attract researchers and ecologists.
You need a quiet life in Kampot

The place is a quiet riverside town just a few kilometers from the Gulf of Thailand. Before the war, Kampot was best known for its famous black pepper, which is still widely available in Cambodia. It is also connected to the rest of the country and Vietnam by well-maintained road.
Take pictures, videos or roam around at Battambang

Battambang a popular tourist destination due to the many nearby ancient temples, Buddhist shrines and the infamous bamboo railway. It is known for its statues which seemingly decorate every public place. Most are of animals (mythical and real) and divinities.
The most famous of these statues is on the main road in from Phnom Penh and is of an ancient Khmer King holding a stick which he used to quell rebellions in the Battambang area.
