Free Wireless and good coffee shops Chiang Mai, Thailand

We know many of travelers love to spend sometime in Chiang Mai at a good coffee shop where they can have a nice coffee and use free Wifi (Wireless internet). Unlike other cities in Thailand, Chiang Mai has many beautiful and nice coffee shop with free wireless. Just walk around in the city and it’s not difficult to find but we think Nimmanhaemin road will be one of the best.

For example: Happy Hut coffee shop has free wifi, nice coffee, good table to work in a group or individual and even power plug is ready for free. Pay only for your coffee and food you eat but the rest are free. Similar to this coffee shop, there are a lot more on Nimmanhaemin road and just check it out. And it’s just next to Chiang Mai University and good if you have something to do with University or just check it out lots of beautiful University girls :)

  1. FYI — Great prices, strong coffees & FAST Wi-Fi at the Coffee Station alongside the PEtronas gas station on Kotchasarn Rd — i.e. outside moat road south of Tapae Gate.
Forget Starbucks! Buy local, buy organic. The all Arabica coffee is grown by the barista and her family up on Doi Saket. BTW – she’s as sweet as her iced cappuccinos!
Long-time coffee drinker & fan of Chiang Mai: now I can enjoy both!

  2. Thanks Ellen. Ya I think people should support more to local coffee shops as they also have good taste :-)
