It is rare event and properly we could say the first time ever that the most popular music band “Abiogenesis” from Nagaland, India, is going to travel to Myanmar (Burma) to perform live music.
It is known that Abiogenesis will travel to Myanmar and perform two stage shows as on May 27 at Yangon’s National Theatre and on May 30 at the National Theatre in Mandalay. Though it is un-clear about the perception of Myanmar fans, the band’s 1st album “Aeon Spell” (2008) and 2nd album “Rustic Relish” (2009) made it to the Grammy list. “Bamhum” the mouth instrument made of bamboo is one of the most interesting things that make attraction to the people and the band is widely described to be one of its kind in Nagaland and fuses traditional Naga music with modern rock music.
